Description

Delfin Ferreira Peixoto Coimbra Casa Dos Pianos Guitarra made aroound the 1920s.  Delfin Ferreira made pianos and sold pianos and guitars in Braga, Portugal.  The guitar was probably made by a local luthier based in Braga.  The guitar is playable as is.  The head was broken but professionally repaired, the luthier's business card is in the case.  The part that was broken does not support the stress of the strings and will not affect the tuning.  There are also some cracks on the sound board that were also professionally repaired.  You will have to look for these repairs as they were well done by a professional luthier.
The guitar is handsome and plays really well.
Comes with new strings, and extra sets of bella strings that are labeled as looped ends but I didn't open the package to see if they were looped at both ends.  I have included the stringing tool for stringing new one-end looped strings; a value.  I also have an extra set of strings with one string missing.  It was my first set of stringing and one string was too long after I looped it so I had to steal one from this set.  I cleaned the guitar and tuners well.  The tuners are original but I cleaned them and they are working hold the tuning well.  No need to buy new ones even thought they are nearly 100 years old.  All parts are original.
I was planning on keepting this instrument but family issues is forcing me to move to South America later this year and this guitar will be trashed by the lack of air conditioning and or stolen as the economic situation down south makes it a not very safe place to own an expensive looking item as this. Comes with case in good to very good condition.  The guitar fits in perfectly so it is probably original.  I will pack in oversized guitar box with plenty of bubble wrap to protect it during shipping
The sides are Brazilian rosewood.
Back - I believe is walnut.
Table- looks like flanders pine
String Scale- 47cm
