    Pan American World Airways adjusted its Foreign Air Mail Route 5 service between New York and Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Lockhead L-O49 Constellation was utilized.
    This cover was carried on the July 17, 1946 inaugural Foreign Air Mail Route 5 flight from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to New York (
    where it was backstamped) and is listed in the Foreign Air Mail Flights (FAM) Section of The American Air Mail Catalogue as F5-162.
