    On December 24, 1964 Pan American extended its long-standing Miami to Nassau service to Rock
    Sound in the Eleuthera Islands group of the Bahamas, some 80 miles east of Nassau.
    This cover was carried on the inaugural Foreign Air Mail Route 5 flight from the Miami, Florida Airport Mail Facility to Rock Sound, Bahamas (
    where it was backstamped) and is listed in the Foreign Air Mail Flights (FAM) Section of The American Air Mail Catalogue as F5-295F.
