    DESCRIPTION & CONDITION:
    An attractive natural history plate from an unknown 19th century book, with hand-coloring. Published by A. Fullerton & Co. of London & Edinburgh. The firm had been founded in 1809 in Glasgow by Archibald Fullerton, and specialized in maps and atlases, and in the early years the partnership included John Blackie. Later the firm became known for its illustrated books and topographical surveys.
    Single sheet. About 6.75”x10”. Minor soil, light wear, one edge a bit ragged.
