Modified PXL 2000 Camcorder
This camera was modified and refurbished by the notorious Circuit Bending Wizkid known as Waterhed. He is the foremost expert for repairs, custom modifications, and refurbishing the PXL 2000.
PXL 2000 cameras, as Modified by Waterhead, are being rented out and used in major Hollywood film and TV studios, and PXL Film Festivals.
This camera was employed by me in Hollywood.  And, I used to charge up to 350 per day, for an independent shoot, with me as the camera operator included, and up to 0 per day on a major Studio/Union film production.
If you're planning on directing, or being a cinematographer, and plan on offering this camera for film and production shoots, you want to own at least two or three of these pxl cameras, for both backups and for when a simultaneous multi-camera use is required.
With this camera you have the choice of recording onto cassette tapes as normal, or you may send the signal into an external recording device, for playback or for video editing purposes, via an RCA output jack.
This camera has an internal Signal Amp, which allows you to record the pxl image and to directly send the moving image signal into a digital camcorder or any other device that accepts the input signal, for both capturing the image or for film editing purposes.
This camera also has a light level knob for controlling the light levels, allowing you to make images,  brighter or darker.
This camera was restored and maintained by Waterhed, to like new condition.
These are the following improvements and modifications:
1. LIGHT LEVEL CONTROL. With the light level knob, you may control and adjust the image by either darkening or making it brighter and lighter almost like an aperture.
2. RCA AUDIO & VIDEO OUTPUTS: audio and video output jacks, allowing you to transfer the footage for both recording and for editing purposes.
3. INTERNAL SIGNAL AMP: allows you to be able to record the Video/Audio signal and PXL image, and to directly send the feed into a Digital Camera or an External Recording / Capture Device for film editing purposes via an RCA Video/Audio outputs.
This camera works exactly like a stock pxl 2000, but better, and modified for the film artist, experimental filmmaker, professional filmmaker, and cinematographer, or Director of Photography.
