This is a vintage top quality original Auricon Hollywood (Made by Berndt-Bach) Heavy Duty tripod made to hold heavy movie cameras and move them with ease! Most of these old timers were heavily used over the years and still active in the Hollywood Industry today!
I am not sure what its rated capacity is, but was made to securely hold the heavy 55 Lbs+ Auricon setup and move it around with ease, and this is exactly what it does, easily handles the heaviest cameras!
This particular tripod has seen very light initial use, then was stored away inside house for the past 44 years and not see the light of the day till very recently!
The wood on the tripod is in very fine condition, there are no cracks and shows light use. The nickel parts still have the original mirror finish with some light pitting on them.  The tightening knobs are all original, look great and work smooth!  Legs extend just fine, lock in place firmly and extends quite high!
The tripod comes with its original Auricon Spring loaded head that makes for a solid feel and smooth operation and works well, along with its original locking handle!
It comes in its original carrying case where it fits snugly and while the case is slightly dusty, it did a wonderful job of protecting the tripod from dirt or dust, it is quite clean and very presentable. It also comes with its original Auricon Cinekad Dolly , also very high quality solidly made and works well,
