intage Abbott's Blarney Die - Bud West Wonderful old magic prop from Abbott's, "The Blarney Die". The performer displays a large die (3 3/4 inches square), a metal blade and an open framework that holds the die. The die is seen on all sides, as is the framework and the metal blade. The magician places the die into the framework and shows how it freely slides back and forth inside. The blade is then inserted into the frame, trapping the die in one half of it. Slowly, the die VISIBLY penetrates the metal blade, passing through its inch by inch. (see photos below) The blade and die are removed from the framework and again shown on all sides to be solid! The trick can be performed surrounded. You will marvel at the ingenuity that went into creating this prop. This is approximately 30 years old and shows a little wear. Great for your show or magic collection! With instructions with this prop but once you closely examine it you will understand the workings. Outside measures approx. 4 1/4 square by 7 1/2 inches tall. Die is 3 /34 inches square.
