After a superb victory in the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley, on 28 October 2017, Winx has galloped into the record books, for her three consecutive wins in this prestigious race (equalled only by Kingston Town, in the 1980s). Supported by trainer Chris Waller and jockey Hugh Bowman, this magnificent bay mare has cemented her place in racing history as the “Queen of the Valley”. This is also her 22nd consecutive racing win!
To celebrate the success of Winx, we will be releasing a special medallion cover, limited to just 2,017. Featuring fascinating commentary, crucial stats and superb photographs of Winx in action, the cover holds a specially designed limited-edition 60mm Zinc Alloy medallion, including a polished gold and silver-plated finish. The medallion design is a replica of the Cox Plate trophy.
This stamp and medallion cover is a very limited collectable, featuring a pictorial envelope with a stamp with tab featuring Winx and related medallion. The stamp is postmarked - 30 October 2017 | Moonee Ponds VIC 3039
