The Plymouth Prowler is one of those cars we should be glad an automaker had the guts to build. Radically different from everything else on the road, then and now, it was hot-rodding elevated to an OEM level and filled with technology. Today, they remain a known quantity and the market is starting to respond to the last of the Plymouths, as cars like this 2000 Prowler are seeing slow but steady increases in value.
Silver Metallic is one of the better choices on the swoopy 2-seat roadster, stealthy and perfect for the period hot rods it was designed to emulate. Showing 26,232 original miles, this nicely maintained Prowler is just right for driving, rather than preserving forever as a low-mile collector's piece. As a study in aluminum construction techniques, the Prowler's lightweight skin is a mixture of aluminum and composite materials, but the shape is part early hi-boy roadster and part 21st century sleek. Fit and finish are superb, given the virtually hand-built nature of these cars, and thanks to more than 15 years of careful ownership by enthusiastic owners, it still shines up extremely well. The doors open and close easily, the pointed hood fits right, and you'll never get tired of watching the front tires do their thing as you drive. Things like the Xenon headlights, flush-mounted taillights, and high-mounted taillight all give the Prowler modern car functionality, albeit with a retro style.
The interior is as beautifully finished as any custom rod you'll find. With supportive black leather buckets and every creature comfort you could imagine, this car really was engineered for the daily grind. The all-black interior shows a few signs of age and use, but you won't find another 2-seat roadster with this much style that works this well. A color-matched center instrument panel is obviously a tip of the hat to the past, and is filled with white-faced gauges, as is the custom with performance cars. There's also a column-mounted tach (factory-issue!) and a trick Auto-Stick shifter that makes the most of the 24-valve V6 and 4-speed automatic powertrain. A/C, power windows and locks, and a thundering stereo with speakers behind the seats mean that you can take this car anywhere without worrying about dressing for the weather, particularly with a neat-fitting black canvas top that seals up well and only shows minor wear.
Chrysler's corporate 3.5-liter 24-valve V6 was the engine of choice in the Prowler, and with 253 horsepower on tap in a lightweight package, performance is entertaining. It's a snug fit under the pointed hood, but they did take pains to make it easy to service and the big intake manifold up top has a definite hot-rod vibe going on. It's also quite reliable and parts are readily available, making it a no-issues car that can be driven cross-country without a second thought. The 4-speed automatic transmission feeds the rear wheels, and the suspension is fully independent, making the Prowler an agile handler as well. Big disc brakes are a design element inside those stylish chrome alloy wheels, which wear 225/45/17 front and giant 295/40/20 Continental radials.
Go ahead, indulge yourself. This Prowler has a clean AutoCheck, original window sticker and manuals, and plenty of regular maintenance for peace of mind. We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. FEES
: A documentation fee of 9 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

INSPECTION

It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable 0 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. SHIPPING: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.
DRIVE IT HOME
: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.
DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE
: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.
VIN VERIFICATION
: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle's current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.
MILEAGES
: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing.
